Once gritty and industrial Chelsea, located on Manhattan’s West Side is known as one of the city’s premier places to live, including if you’re searching for short-term rentals in NYC or furnished apartments in NYC. The neighborhood retains an artistic feeling through the presence of distinctive galleries, and it’s also flourished with the development of the High Line, an elevated green space built along a former railway. Chelsea Market is set in an old factory and offers an a broad collection of shops and eateries, while Chelsea Piers is a waterfront venue featuring a fitness club and sports options.
